Hello Emeralds, I am back to give the update as promised! I know you all are excited, and it would be fun to enlighten you all on the first day of production. I know in previous blogs, I stated that I will start in February, however, I feel it is best to begin early; as I will be equipped with more time to provide quality work.
The first day of production was on January 18th as that was a good weekend for decent weather. I invited all the cast along with five extras to standby. I made sure to provide food and safety fulfillments as these members of my team are my responsibility.
I used a borrowed camera from my uncle but the quality was fair. I then called my father to borrow his camera as it is up to date. I only wanted to get scenes with the whole friend group. I decided this was best to watch their acting, and suggest advice that will improve the film.
Honestly, it was okay. I expressed to my team that I was not upset and that the scenes needed to be redone. I watched it multiple times. I asked what day will they be free and I got a result of January 19th being suitable. Tomorrow I plan on being more firm. I allowed my cast to enjoy their time, which is understandable, however, this is a contracted agreement that needs to be completed. I promised myself that this media work will be better than the last one.
It is best to film the main characters scene separately as followed by the script. The main characters work together daily and there is no conflicted schedules.
