Our official genre is mystery. This decision was made as our group watched multiple films and decided that mystery was most interesting. Upon watching mystery films, we noticed that the audience were more engaged. Collectively, we made a promise to create a media piece that displays growth from our last projects. With Pitch B and this genre, we are certain that our film will perform well!
Pitch A: A bookbag for a seemingly nice high schooler is left behind. Another student finds the bag with intentions to return it, only to find a shocking secret revealed in the journal.
Pitch B: Two masterminds plan a robbery from a nice friend group. Trust is altered as one betrays the other in the final process.
Pitch A: This idea caught our interests as the audience wants to be engaged in the process. Suspense is heightened as the findings in the journal identify the observation of students analyzed from the nice quiet kid. The audience will began to question one another on two possible options. Will the findings will be revealed? Or will the student return the bag and notebook like nothing happened?
Pitch B: This pitch highlighted the importance of watching your back. Two friends plan to rob a friend group they are interest in joining, while one has their own intentions of manipulating the plan. This comes as a shock as the assumed robbers are good friends and no one expects the sudden betrayal. This evokes emotion aspect as many viewers experienced betrayal at least once in their lives. Will the plan be successful or a failed mission in the end? That will be the main topic of the audience during screening.
Our final decision: On the popular vote, we chose pitch B because a better plot as two wrong actions are being preformed. Not only is it wrong to steal, but it is also wrong to break trust of another close friend.
Hello Emeralds, I am back for a new update on this new project. Are you guys excited? This is an opportunity to display my growth. For this project, I had the option of working by myself or with a team. Since I am open to challenges and collaborating on ideas with groups of people, I chose a team. For my team, I searched for peers who put quality in their work and have effective communication skills. I would like to introduce my amazing team and their task. The task assigned was a short film. I chose to work with peers who aim to produce the best work. My peers is just Stanley. I picked chose to take on creative approaches. Stanley was chosen for his editing techniques. Lastly, we will split the editing techniques for guidance and latest ideas best suited for the task. Both Stanley and I agreed on our partnership and greeted each other. It was decided that we must collectively plan and create an outline for the short film. Next we discussed the basics of what we want the film to look like and be consisted of. That of course is being saved for planning. Last year I learned the importance of finding the right time and now that I have experience, I feel more prepared. I am older and have more knowledge on how to correctly create a good media project. Well, Emeralds, that is all I can tell you for now. Remember to stay royal green!
Hi, my name is Ayannah Alincy. I would describe myself as a caring, gentle, and genuine person. I believe that having these three characteristics, will help me succeed in life. Unlike many, I weigh the positive outlook of events first rather than negative. This allows me to better the mood and set the tone for the week. Some of my strengths are time management, the ability to spot critical detail, and most importantly patience. As a human, I have weaknesses too. They are expanding my creativity, being open minded, and challenging myself to accomplish hard tasks. I really enjoy the beauty of the color green. As a toddler, I would observe nature and fall in love with how leaves of trees were green. This led me to buy many things green from the elegance and vibrancy the color gives off. From observing, I can conclude there is nothing I disapprove more than introducing plastic to the sea and littering on the beach. I find it cruel to the sea animals who have to adapt to the new trash lifestyle that humans actively put them through. To add on, I like staying inside and having time to rest. Like some, I like to enjoy my own presence and have peace. Having a peaceful mindset relieves my brain of stress. Speaking of brains, I would like to mention that my overall goal in life is to be a neurosurgeon. On my free time, I study parts and functions of the brain to have a basic understanding before I attend medical school in the future. Being a neurosurgeon allows me to provide answers and care to the people about their brains. Well, that's an overall description of me! Below is just an example of things I find beautiful in life.
